Going Green With Hair Color:

I've been on a mission to find a hair color that I was not allergic to and I have finally found it. Color today has way to much ammonia in it.  Tends to burn the scalp and makes you become teary eyed and for some it causes blisters on the scalp. It also stains the skin around your hairline which takes time to get rid of. When this color is applied you can be sure you will not smell anything.
Some clients have never considered a color application because they are concerned about the unnatural looking results. They don't have to worry anymore as this color gives you that beautiful natural-looking  color result. Natural hair usually appears with uneven areas like lighter ends on the crown section or a darker nape area. This color has muti-tonal  principle which adapts to this natural phenomenon and allows for the most natural looking color results. The color range is developed for multiple shade combinations. All tones are intermixable and allow creative compositions and individual creations.
This color also has besides know ammonia, silicones, formaldehyde derivates, parabens, alcohol, paraffin, mineral oils or artificial colorants. They only use pure and natural ingredients to produce formulations that deliver the highest degree of naturalness possible. Everything they use is biodegradable and is from plant based materials.
This color I would use on anybody and it is called ESSENSITY by Schwarzkopf. This color is for anyone who is health conscious, eco- conscious and wants to use products that are natural and have healthy ingredients. For me as a stylist it is the perfect choice. My favorite things about this hair color is it does not bother my scalp and leaves my hair so shiny. The color in this picture says it all.

Treating Dry Hair:

If your hair looks dry and lifeless. This type of hair craves moisture, and in most instances requires a healthy dose of protein. Dry hair needs protection in the form of emollients and lubricants, which will lay down the outside cuticle layer of the hair and create the shine you want. Humectants will attract and retain moisture within your hair. Moisturisers  contain humectants that not only replace lost moisture but actually attract moisture and retain it in the cortex of the hair. Daily shampooing and conditioning with mosturizing and emollient treatments will go a long way toward alleviating a dry, tight scalp, while  replenishing lost moisture and proteins  along the hair shaft. Try using moisturisers, which have humectants in it. Essential fatty acids are great moisturizers. One of the best and most cost effective essential fatty acids is safflower oil. The scalp produces the best essential fatty acid called sebum but sebum cannot reach upto the entire length of the hair, especially if it is long.
Take a few drops of safflower oil in your palms while the hair is dry apply to the ends and then work toward your scalp. By applying safflower oil your dry hair will have the proper amount of humectants to attract and retain moisture. If possible leave in your hair at least 2 hours. Use a moisturizing shampoo  and conditioner on your ends only every other day. Rinse with water alone on off days.. When you're at beach, spread some of the sunscreen use on your body through your hair so that it doesn't dry out and get fried from the sun.
