How to Fix Orange Hair

Why would you want to fix orange hair. Some people are born with orange hair but we call it red but is not more orange than red. Coloring our hair can give us orange hair but by using toners or violet based shampoos will calm it down.There are so many different tones of orange why would we want to fix orange hair, unless it does not go with our skin tone.
At breakfast I saw a gentleman with bright orange hair with strands of gold running thru. He was in a wheelchair but what stood out was his bright orange hair with a very stylish cut. I gave him a complement  on his hair and he told me as a kid everyone made fun of his orange hair. He said is proud of it now and I told him that his beautiful orange hair was becoming extinct. As I said why would you want to fix orange hair. If you are coloring your own hair and you picked a color that left you with orange or brassy looking hair. You can use a color wash to drab out the orange or a toner to drab out the orange if you are a blond. On really dark hair you will definitely be getting some brassy to orange tones. Dark hair works better by adding dark red to to give you a pretty mahogany look. I still say when you mix an orange red with a blue red you get such a wonderful shade of red like no other.
